Angels Online Server Merges

1) Overview:

 

Server Merge List:

 

1. Thanotos(Non- PVP): Formerly [Thanotos] and [Ares]

 

 

2) Server Merge Rules

 

(a) When the same account has characters in more than one server

 

1. If the player has never used a Role Card in any of the former servers: he/she can only have one character after the merge.

 

2. If the player has used a Role Card before in any of the former servers: he/she can have characters equal to the number of Role Cards used, up to a maximum of 3 characters.

 

3. Only the characters with the highest Character EXP will be retained. All data associated with discarded characters will not be retained (including character info, equipped items, inventory items, Fashion Bag, Card Bag, Card Book, Mail, Quests, Leagues, Friends, Blacklists, Marriage partners)

 

4. If two or more top EXP characters share the same EXP, the one that was created earlier (the older character) will be placed first in terms of priority.

 

5. Only the warehouses for top EXP characters will be retained. Please shift all the items you wish to keep to the warehouses that will be retained.

 

6. Hired safes for retained Warehouses will be kept; hired safes for Warehouses that will be discarded will not be kept.

 

7. After the merge, all characters will be arranged according to their EXP (this will differ from their original relative positions).

 

Eg.: Player A used 2 Role Cards in Thanotos, and has 3 characters there: AA (Lv 150), BB (Lv 70), CC (Lv 1). At the same time, he has also used 1 Role Card in Ares, and has 2 characters there: DD (Lv 130), EE (Lv 70). After the merge, the 3 characters from Thanotos, and 2 characters from Ares will be rearranged according to their EXP, and the top three characters and their data will be retained. BB and EE are of the same level, but because BB was created earlier, the ones that will be retained will be in the following order: AA (Lv 150), DD (Lv 130), BB (Lv 70).

 

 

 

(a) Characters with the same names on different servers

 

1. These characters will be arranged according to their EXP; the one with the highest EXP will keep the original name, the one with the second highest EXP will have #1 added to the name, the one with the third highest EXP will have #2 added to the name and so on.

 

2. Characters who have #x added to their names: when the player logs in for the first time after the merge, there will be a [Change Char Name] button in the character selection screen. The player must complete the name changes first before he/she can enter the game.

 

 

 

(b) Leagues

 

1. If the League Leader character is not retained, all data associated with the League, including League info, League Warehouse items, money, and League notices.

 

2. If the Leader character is retained, all data associated with the League is retained.

 

3. Leagues with the same name will be arranged according to their reputation; the League with the highest reputation will keep the original name, the one with the second highest reputation will have #1 added to the name, the one with the third highest reputation will have #2 added to the name and so on.

 

4. Leagues that have #x added to their names: when the League Leader logs in for the first time after the merge, there will be a [Change League Name] button in the character selection screen. The player must complete the name change first before he/she can enter the game.

 

 

 

(c) Territory

 

1. After the merge, there will be no territories and new territories have to be established via totem battles.

 

 

 

(d) Marriage, Friends List, Blacklist:

 

1. Transfers along with character info.

 

2. Marriage partners, Friends Lists and Blacklists will be refreshed when the name changes have been implemented.

 

3. If one of the characters in a marriage is not retained, the marriage will automatically be dissolved.

 

 

 

(e) Mail:

 

1. Transfers along with character info.

 

2. If the sender’s name or recipient’s name happen to be the same as other characters on the server (after the merge), they will take on the form of [Name + #1, #2, #3…] and will be refreshed once the name changes have been implemented.

 

 

 

(f) Quests:

 

1. Transfers along with character info.

 

 

 

(g) Inventory and Warehouse:

 

1. Character’s inventory – transfers along with character info.

 

2. Character’s equipment – transfers along with character info.

 

3. Fashion Bag – transfers along with character info.

 

4. Card Bag – transfers along with character info.

 

5. Card Book – transfers along with character info.

 

6. Warehouse Items – Only the warehouse items in the server with the highest character levels will be retained. Please shift the items in the warehouses of other servers yourself.

 

7. Warehouse Coins - same as above.

 

8. Hired Safes are retained if their Warehouse is retained; Hired Safes are discarded if their Warehouse is discarded.

 

9. League Warehouse - Transfers along with the League Leader’s character info. If the League Leader’s character is retained, all data associated with the League is retained. If the League Leader’s character is discarded, all relevant League data is discarded as well.

 

10. Achievements and Titles - Apart from the rankings, all achievements and titles will be transferred along with character info.

 

11. Album – Transfers along with character info.

 

12. House System – Both furniture and cleanliness index transfer along with character info.

 

13. Login Rewards – Transfers along with character info.

 

14. Cheques – Transfers along with character info.

 

 

 

(h) Claiming items from Bao Clerk:

 

1. [Claiming lost items]: These must be claimed before the merge. They cannot be claimed after the merge.

 

2. [Dummy treasure]: These are unaffected by the merge and can be claimed after the merge.

 

(i) Avatar

 

1. Not retained.

 

 

 

3) Compensation

 

(a) All [limited lifespan] items, that are active when the game is taken offline for the merge, will have their lifespan extended.

 

(b) Please check our official homepage regularly for the latest news on other compensation events.

 

 

 

4) Others

 

(a) Before the merge, we will open up [Ares+Thanatos],so that players can login and see if their data is correct, and have enough time to adjust their characters to prep for the merge. Any changes to account data in [Ares+Thanatos] will not be kept. These test servers will be shut down and all data on them deleted once the merge is in progress.
