Mid-Autumn Festival Peel for Luck Contest (Update)

It seems like just days ago that we welcomed spring and celebrated the beginning of summer. As the trees begin to change colors, the time has come to welcome autumn with a series of surprises that will have you burning in anticipation! This event will be open to players on all servers.

Duration
The Peel for Luck Contest will commence after the server maintenance, from September 16th to 1:00am September 30th, 2010 EDT (gmt-4). The event will commence after the weekly server maintenance and will last for a total of 2 weeks.

Description
It's time for the annual Mid-Autumn Festival and the Garden of Eden is once again bustling with activities! To celebrate the rich harvest of pomelos, the Moon Maid has decided to hold a Peel for Luck Contest in all 4 Main Cities! Lucky winners can choose to be sent to the Lunar Palace to help Gan Wu cut down the Laurel Tree. Gather as much Moon Laurel as you can for a chance to win some attractive prizes from the Moon Maid!

Rules and Regulations
1. During the event, collect pomelos from level 21 or higher monsters or level 21 or higher resources. There are different types of pomelos with different effects. (Note: monsters from Instances and the Mysterious Area do not drop pomelos.)
2. The Moon Maid NPC will be waiting in all 4 Main Cities to challenge you to a round of peeling pomelos. You will need 10 of any type of pomelo to qualify for the challenge.
3. Best the Moon Maid in the challenge and you will be granted access to the Lunar Palace for 1 hour. You will be given your choice of one Golden Pomelo if you fail to win the challenge. In the Lunar Palace, you can help the Gan Wu NPC cut down the Laurel Tree.
4. You will need a Robot to help Gan Wu. You may choose to rent a Half Moon Robot for a limited duration from Gan Wu if you do not have one.
5. You will acquire some Moon Laurel from the Laurel Tree when you help Gan Wu. Each Moon Laurel gives you a 1.5X EXP bonus when used. You can also choose to keep the Moon Laurel in your warehouse. The Moon Maid will count the Moon Laurel in your warehouse at the end of the event. The more you collect, the greater the prizes! There are Rabbit Luna Caps, Luxurious Ovens and many other prizes to be won.

Power Golden Pomelo		One of the prizes in the "Peel for Luck" Challenge. Increases melee damage by 5% for 30 min.
Spirit Golden Pomelo		One of the prizes in the "Peel for Luck" Challenge. Increases spell damage by 5% for 30 min.
Harvest Golden Pomelo		One of the prizes in the "Peel for Luck" Challenge. Increases gathering speed by 12% for 30 min.
Exquisite Golden Pomelo		One of the prizes in the "Peel for Luck" Challenge. Increases production speed by 12% for 30 min.
Lunar Robot (Rent)		You can rent this from NPC Gan Wu when you enter the Lunar Palace. Lasts 30 min.
Moon Laurel		Use this to get 1.5X EXP for 10 min. Keep as many in your warehouse as possible to win attractive prizes at the end of the event!

Prizes
Each player will be ranked according to the amount of Moon Laurel collected in their warehouse. The better the prize will be.

1. 5X EXP and Skill EXP Mooncake
Increase EXP and Skill EXP gain when consumed. Effect is unstackable with other Mooncakes. (maximum EXP is capped at 5X. Multiple uses will be rended ineffective)

2. 5X Skill EXP Mooncake
Increase Skill EXP gain when consumed. ( maximum Skill EXP is capped at 5X. Multiple uses will be rended ineffective)

Note
Moon Laurels will become invalid and disappear after the event ends. (Update)
