Phoenix Fire Scorches Eden

Issued On: Jan. 21, 2010

People say that true gold doesn't fear the fire. But even rigid and unbending steel is melted and shaped by the flame. So it was with immense Iron Castle, the imposing fortified city made entirely of steel. How was this tough-as-nails structure built? Well, much as the patron beast of Breeze Woods, the immortal Wind Pterosaur revealed its part in the creation of Breeze Woods, the new Phoenix Fire has shown how it was instrumental in the construction of Iron Castle.

Scorching flames constantly dance and swirl around the lithe graceful body of this immortal creature. Legends speak of a time before time, when God first created Eden and there was no desert. The land was covered in lush forests and endless plains. However, when the Phoenix Fire arrived, she could not help herself and flames and destruction followed her wherever she went. Huge swaths of forest were demolished creating the vast deserts, and when she settled in this new wasteland, her fires burned into the ground, melting the iron ore that lay underground. This molten ore soon began to take shape, and created Iron Castle.

It is said that only those chosen by the Phoenix Fire will avoid the horros of her flames, but very few have ever tested this theory. She still carries many secrets with her, secrets that will be revealed in time.
